Bethel Camp for the Arts
...Much More Than An Arts Camp!
Bethel Camp for the Arts Mission Statement:
To provide a non-competitive, caring environment in which children can
explore and enjoy a balance of fine and performing arts, enrichment activities
and individual/lifetime sports as part of a small, inclusive community.
Our approach to the camp experience:
We are a non-traditional camp geared toward bright and creative children and
offering no team sports. Campers create their own schedules, choosing from a
wide variety of activities. At Bethel Camp for the Arts, we are committed to
offering the highest quality program, staff and facility. We welcome all
children to join us and celebrate being who they are.
Located on the beautiful campus of
Gould Academy in Bethel, Maine (www.bethelmaine.com),
Bethel Camp for the Arts offers 2 or 4 week sessions.
Camper ages range from 8-15. Our program is elective and has a variety of
creative activities, technology and enrichment along with individual sports.
Campers choose 10 activities for each session (5 classes every other day). This
enables them to improve skills in current areas of interest and try new
activities they might not do at home. Bethel Camp for the Arts is
non-competitive, geared to each camper exploring his or her interests.

Jacki H. - Cumberland, R.I.
I can't tell you how impressed we are at how well you are running this
camp. The communication has been outstanding. I really loved reading Clare's
e-mail about Hillary's update... it is clear that she has seen Hillary in
action, and did not just send a generic email, as she described Hillary to a
"T." Our conversation with Hillary on Sunday night was very positive, and we can
tell that she is enjoying every aspect of her experience at Bethel Camp. I just
wanted you to know how much we appreciate all of your efforts to stay in touch
with us and inform us of what's going on. You are doing an amazing job, and I
didn't want this to go unnoticed. Thanks so much for helping to make Hillary's
camp experience a memory of a lifetime!
