Mandi Goch
Dorm Counselor/Photography
|
Mandi has an incredible passion for photography. Her favorite thing to do is work with film in the darkroom, but she also has a great appreciation for digital photography. She is an avid traveler who enjoys exploring other cultures and meeting new people. Some of the places she has lived include Florida, Colorado, Ecuador, Israel, Chicago and currently Vermont where she is studying Studio Art and Art History at The University of Vermont in Burlington. She has a big place in her heart for the summer camp experience since she attended a camp for 10 summers as a child. Going to camp remains one of the most memorable and influential experiences in her life. Last summer while living in Burlington, she worked for a summer theater company and was an assistant teacher at a children's photo program where she learned how much she enjoys sharing her photographic knowledge with others. Currently she works at The Fleming Museum in Burlington, and one day she hopes to combine her two interests of teaching and museum studies by working in Museum Education. She is more than excited to get to know everyone attending this summer and can't wait for fun-filled days at camp again, this time as a counselor.
