|
Lorraine received her BA in commercial Art at Notre Dame College in Manchester, NH before pursuing her Master of Arts degree in Art Education at the University of New Hampshire. Working as a graphic artist for many years she eventually felt drawn to teaching and bringing her love of the arts to others. For the last several years she has been teaching art to middle school children in the Sanborn Regional School District located in the seacoast region of NH. She loves to bring new experiences to her students to encourage curiosity, imagination and self expression.
Living in Manchester, NH, Lorraine and her husband, Dave have two adult children. Making fitness a priority she attends classes in kickboxing, yoga, and cardio dance and also loves to kayak and hike. As a lifetime learner she is always looking for opportunities to grow as an artist in any medium but especially drawing, painting, and printmaking. A new found interest of hers is learning to play the guitar. She is looking forward to working with all the campers and to share her love of the arts at Maine Arts Camp.
