Caitlin Cavanagh

Caitlin Cavanagh
Head Girls' Counselor

Caitlin Cavanagh was born in Oneida, New York, where she first discovered her love of the arts through her participation in the district's choirs, bands, and drama clubs. In addition to appearances in All-County and All-State choruses and bands, she traveled to Lincoln Center to compete with her vocal jazz ensemble, starred in several musical and dramatic performances, and helped with the middle school's spring musical. Now in her senior year at the University of Rochester, she's majoring in psychology and Spanish. The arts have remained an invaluable aspect of her life in college, as she takes voice lessons from the Eastman School of Music and is the Assistant Musical Director/Publicity Manager of her campus's co-ed, student-run a cappella group, "After Hours." Last year, she began substitute teaching in the local school district, where she has found that her love of children is more specifically a love of teaching children. Caitlin is rarely NOT singing, and loves coloring books, playing outside, making new friends, and being creative. Caitlin can't wait to inspire her passion for the arts in campers, jump on a bike and more for her third summer at Maine Arts Camp!
