Caterina Fisher

Caterina Fisher
Dorm Counselor/Dance

Caterina is currently a student at Nazareth College in Rochester, New York where she studies, voice, dancing and acting. She is also pursuing a certificate to teach students in grades K-9 and those with special needs. Caterina's work with children began in 2001 as a student dance instructor. Shes also worked as an assistant instructor for the Mac-Haydn Theater Childrens Workshop in Chatham, New York and as a camp counselor with the Olana Arts Camp in Hudson, New York. Her most recent work with children came as the Children's Production Manager for the Professional Rochester Childrens Theater Production of the "Wizard of OZ."

Caterina has been performing on stage since she has been seven years old and is a veteran of more than 20 musical theater productions. She spent the last two summers as an intern and performing professionally with the Mac-Haydn Theater, and she earned professional credits performing at the Cohoes Music Hall in Cohoes, New York. At Nazareth College she sings with the choir, has served on the production staff of several college theater productions, and currently serves as a choreographer and member of the Nazareth College Dance Club. She has been the choreographer for several community and school productions including "Peter Pan," "Lil Abner,""Hello Dolly" and a locally produced show called "A Disney Experience." Her most recent performance was in the part of YUM-YUM ("The Mikado") for the Nazareth College Opera Workshop. Caterina believes that joining the staff at Bethel Camp for the Arts is a dream opportunity because she is able to combine her life passions: singing, dancing, acting, music, and a love for working with children.
