Brant Wells
Head Boys' Counselor
|
This will be Brant's fifth summer at Maine Arts Camp. He graduated from Florida State University (FSU) as a Media Productions and International Affairs double major. Having worked with video since third grade, Brant has a strong passion for the art form. Brant currently is a producer for Seminole Productions, producing such shows as the Bobby Bowden show.
During high school, he won several awards at local and national levels for short films, documentaries, and other video projects. Brant was also selected for Channel One Network's (a national TV broadcast for middle and high schools across the nation) Student Produce Week 2005 as a news producer. Having worked for the Polk County school board as an Instructional Television Technician/Trainer teaching videography to students and teachers, Brant finds teaching as one of the most rewarding activities. In addition, he runs his own production company, WellsFilms, which has produced two national documentaries and an international music video for MTV Euro. Brant is excited to teach videography and chess (another long story with equal qualifications) once again this summer at Maine Arts Camp.
