Hailing from Richmond Maine, Jeff started his musical career at an early age with his father's dance band of the 70's. "Playing the drum set, we performed everything from waltzes and polkas to jazz and pop, and as a 15-year-old I was already out doing gigs and making my allowance," says Jeff. As a musician and teacher, Jeff's specialty areas include drum and percussion workshops, private and/or group lessons for children and adults. He also teaches beginner guitar at his studio in Belfast, Maine at the Waterfall Art Center. Jeff has performed with numerous rock bands, jazz groups, country bands, drum ensembles, dance classes, choral groups, music for theater and much more in past 30 years. Jeff's educational background includes studies at the University of Maine, Augusta music program, Drummers Collective NYC (drum set and hand drums), Guinea, West Africa and many drum camps around the New England area. "I love it when a young person gets excited about music!"
